At Scuba Training and Technology we dive all over Arizona, Nevada, and California.  We do both beach entry dives and boat dives from our vessel  the R/V Explorer.  Dive sites range in depth from 15 feet to over 300 feet.

Lake Havasu Diving

Lake Havasu is actually the Colorado River.  The Lake Havasu part runs from the California / Arizona border at Route 40 all the way down to the Parker Dam.

In Lake Havasu we have dozens of dive sites that can be visited by divers either from beach access or by boat. Visibility ranges throughout the year from 10-50 feet with water temperatures from the mid 50's to as high as 85' in the peak of summer.

Popular Dive Sites

Training Site 5

This site is on the "island" in Lake Havasu it's a small cove that is accessible by car. Here you will find a great area to train and practice diving. U/W you will find two sail boats, a small tri -hull, a poor attempt at an u/w sub, a truck, and other surprises. You will also find that the whole site is set up with lines that take you to each area.

Victoria Cliffs

This is a special site only accessible by boat off the south east corner of the island.  Here you will find sheer walls ranging from 10-40 feet deep. It runs about 1/2 mile long and has ledges, boulders, a few swim throughs and a few small boats as well.  Visibility here is usually very good.

Our principal instructors,  Kathy Weydig, Joel Silverstein, and Scott Monnier are Instructor
Trainers to all levels of diving.  Each has their own areas of expertise and there is no doubt you
will get exposed to each of them during your training.

If you have never dived before then we start at the beginning with the
"Scuba Diver Course" this
is the base learning all divers go through but is probably the most important.  When you have a
great experience in the beginning the rest of your diving is always so much more enjoyable.  In
this class you will learn about scuba diving, the equipment, how to use it safely and how to have
fun with diving.

After the Scuba Diver course most people spend a little time diving and acquiring their own gear
and then move into the
Advanced Open Water course where they spend more time learning
about navigation, limited visibility diving, boat diving, etc.

From there you move on to a variety of specialties for recreational and technical diving,
leadership and public service diving.  Whatever you goal for your diving the trainers at STT Inc.
can help you get there.

Our class calendar is very flexible and accommodating to a busy person's schedule. Give us a
call or stop in and we will be happy to discuss your training needs.  We issue certifications
through a variety of training agencies. Each has their specific areas of expertise.
